Sundried Tomato and Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Tired of leaky hummus tubs in your pack? Or dream of deliciously fresh hummus on Day 3 of your adventure? Local Dehy’s new dehydrated hummus range is the answer! Choose from either Beetroot and Zesty Lemon or Sundried Tomato and Roasted Red Pepper or just take one of each. Dried and packaged in our home compostable packaging, simply pour into a mug or bowl and add cold water. Tu meke! Fresh hummus in just a couple of minutes, and the perfect addition to any lunch spread on the trail. We do recommend if this is the first time making this hummus that you add water very slowly to get the texture that you prefer. 

The lemon juice in this hummus is from ‘The Limery’. Their lemons are grown at the mouth of the Wairoa River in Hawkes Bay and contains no preservatives and is grown pesticide free. Whilst the salt we use is from Lake Grassmere, Marlborough, so the salt comes straight out of our moana. By using local produce we support New Zealand growers, and reduce food miles and carbon emissions.
