Feijoa, Apple & Ginger Porridge

Our Vegan porridge features the classic Kiwi favourite Feijoa, paired with chunks of apples and ginger spices. We toast pumpkin and sunflower seeds by hand until they are golden brown to bring a truly nutty flavour.

We use local produce in our porridges to reduce food miles and our carbon footprint. We source Harraways New Zealand grown oats, andĀ salt from Lake Grassmere that comes straight out of our moana.Ā 

So why eat porridge for breakfast?Ā Oats are a great source of nutrient-rich whole grains and a primary source of energy. Ā The fibre content helps improve digestion, and the soluble fibreĀ feeds the good bacteria living in the gut for a healthier puku.Ā 

Why are chia seeds good for me? They contain large amounts of fibre and omega-3 fatty acids, plenty of high-quality protein, and several essential minerals and antioxidants. As such, they are great at helping you recover and stay healthy whilst adventuring. In fact “chia”Ā is the ancient Mayan word for ā€œstrengthā€.


Ingredients: New Zealand oats, coconut milk powder, freeze-dried feijoa, freeze-driedĀ apple, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, crystallised ginger, brown sugar, Marlborough salt, ginger powder.
