It is with much thought and deep consideration that we have decided to bring an end to Local Dehy. Whilst reasons are multiple, one of the key decisions lay with our expansion and growth options. The necessity to outsource production would mean a compromise to the environmental and ethical foundations upon which our company was born, and those which we have maintained throughout our growth despite increasing difficulty and cost. This is the very heart of Local Dehy, and what set us apart from other companies in this sector. And the reason you, our loyal customers, came to us in the first place.

As a gift to our supporters, we will be posting our recipes on our website in the coming months, in the hope that you engage in your own small manufacturing of Local Dehy at home. This is the best way to continue to support your own environmental beliefs and eat great dried food on your adventures.

Use local produce, use reusable packaging, recycle your waste, compost scraps. Do everything the others don’t.
